Shimao Loong Palace

Using natural and fluent language reasonable organization of landscape, courtyard are connected to each other in multiple dimensions, permeated with each other and converted smoothly. Using the vertical strategy skillfully, the 4-meter height difference will be reversed into the highlight and feature of the project, creating a multi-level, artistic, living, natural courtyard landscape.

Farmers Den

The design reflects the philosophy of honesty and the use of natural materials customized in local yellow stones and natural light depending on the path of the sun is the predominant attribute. The client is a simple farmer and his brief was to develop an office space to further this passion in organic and sustainable agriculture. The architectural layout was a simple grid-based plan and the building was slightly raised on a platform flowing into the surrounding landscape and waterbodies accentuating the overall openness and the sloping roof subtly cue the vernacular design.

Prison History

The cellular prussian model prison in Berlin Moabit, constructed between 1842 and 1849 In lieu of communal cells and corporal punishment, the reformers devised a system of isolation with individual cells. In the last years of Worldwar 2 political prisoners have been captured and tortured in the prison. After its demolition in 1958 ist was used as a storage space. After the Berlin Wall fell the city contracted glasser and dagenbach to develope a recreational and memorial park. An architectural garden within the prison walls was created by using land art means - a prison story told in a park.

Fushan Ecology

The design comes from the pinecone that can be seen everywhere on Fushan Mountain, which means rebirth and hope. Two paths to satisfy different people. The steps of the inner ring are suitable for a fast pass, and the ramps of the outer ring are suitable for strolling and sightseeing. The two paths converge on the viewing platform at the top, where people can enjoy a wonderful 360 degree visual experience. The project adopts renewable materials, low carbon technology, and assembly technology, which fully reflects the design concept of green, ecological, and open.

Benjakitti

Benjakitti Park is located on the site of a disused tobacco factory in central Bangkok. The park's design incorporates wetland and forest ecosystems that deliver services including urban flood management, purification of polluted canal waters, and habitat for native plants and wildlife. The boardwalks and skywalks that crisscross the park are designed to immerse visitors in nature and to encourage them to reflect upon how humans and nature might live in harmony. The designers’ ambition is for the park to demonstrate the potential for nature-based approaches to urban sustainability.

Agile View World

The site, with an area of 16,860 square meters, is surrounded by water and mountains. The surrounding forest belts are growing well and can be incorporated into landscape resources for use. Moreover, with its back against Gaoligong Mountain, it features broad vision and abundant landscape resources.The design uses local materials, plants and techniques to build a pure and simple lifestyle, and emphasizes the deep respects for mountains and plains where the site is located, with quiet and restrained language, and with low intervention.
